Ben’s Remembrance Run on the Ridge

The late Ben Nyhoff, who devoted his talent to Kids’ Food Basket for six years, enjoyed running and the beauty of nature. In his memory, his family has organized the inaugural Ben’s Remembrance Run on the Ridge for September 14, 2024, starting at 2 p.m.

The non-competitive event will be held regardless of weather conditions. Participants can choose between running or walking a 5k or 2-mile paved course that does not cross any roads. A water station will be available on the 5K route and water and light refreshments will be available at the conclusion of the event.

In lieu of race bibs, participants will have the opportunity to write the names of loved ones they wish to remember or honor on stickers to wear as they run or walk. Photographs of registered participants will be taken in front of Ben’s memorial tree.

Financial gifts can be made in the form of cash, check, credit card or via Venmo. You can also donate online here, in honor of Ben’s incredible legacy. Participants are also welcome to bring KFB Wish List items to the event.
