Partnering for Community: West Michigan Food Insecurity Resources

Food insecurity is a complex, unacceptable reality for too many. We can do more about it when we work together.

Kids’ Food Basket is focused on increasing healthy food access for kids by distributing to schools and community organizations. This means that we are a consistent source of nutrition for thousands of West Michigan kids who receive Sack Suppers to take home at the end of the school day. It also means that we provide fresh, healthy produce to community partners in Kent County and the lakeshore through our two farms. These partners can then distribute this healthy food directly to the community.

We’re grateful to partner with outstanding organizations that work tirelessly to get our neighbors the resources they deserve.

If you or a neighbor could benefit from direct food assistance, our community partners may be able to help. For immediate assistance, please call 2-1-1.
