Volunteers are the heart and engine of Kids’ Food Basket. We are endlessly grateful for the hundreds of volunteers that we rely on to keep our mission running, and we work to ensure that everyone who comes through our doors in any of our three locations has a positive, meaningful experience.
But what do our volunteers think? In May and June of 2023, Kids’ Food Basket distributed surveys to all volunteers who had engaged with our work in the last two years.
We received 558 responses from volunteers, 89% of whom have volunteered in the past six months, and 96% of respondents intend to continue engaging with Kids’ Food Basket. Responses were from a mix of both new and longtime volunteers.
