Healthy Food Access Matters

A good future starts with good food.

What’s in a Sack Supper?

Each Sack Supper contains a serving of fruit, vegetables, protein and a healthy snack. Each variation on our menu is kid-tested and of high quality.

Sack Suppers Across West Michigan

Each weekday, volunteer drivers deliver thousands of Sack Suppers to schools and community sites.

Every school we serve has a student population in which at least 70% of students are considered economically disadvantaged (formally qualified for free and reduced price lunch).

Where our Food Comes From

We ensure that every dollar stretches without compromising our high expectations each item in a KFB meal.

Some of our food donated, either in large quantities from vendors, through KFB Wishlist Drives or from volunteers packing Supper Packs. During the growing season, our farms also provide much of the produce served in our meals.

What we cannot grow ourselves, we must purchase. Most of our food is purchased in bulk from other organizations at a discounted rate.
